Terms of service

These terms govern your use of pickz.fun (the “Service”), operated by Pickz (“Pickz”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Pickz is, and is not

Pickz is a research, modelling and record-keeping tool for people who follow NFL football, together with a free weekly skill contest. Pickz is not a sportsbook, bookmaker or gambling operator. The Service does not accept, place, broker or settle any wager with real money, and nothing on the Service is an offer to do so. The “bets” you log in the tracker are your own records of wagers you placed elsewhere; Pickz has no part in them.

Lines, prices and model numbers shown on the Service are market data and estimates provided for information only. They may be wrong, late or incomplete. Nothing on the Service is advice to place any wager, and you are solely responsible for any decision you make.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, and legally able to enter a binding agreement.
• You must not use the Service where doing so is unlawful. You are responsible for checking the laws that apply to you.
• One account per person. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
• Employees and contractors of Pickz, and members of their households, may use the research tools but are not eligible for contest prizes.

3. Accounts

You sign in with a phone number, email address, Google account or Solana wallet through our authentication provider, Privy. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Each account is given a Solana wallet address held by the authentication provider on your behalf (the “prize wallet”). You may export its private key at any time from the account menu; once exported, its security is your responsibility. We never hold your private keys.

4. The pass

The research desk, the models and the tracker are available with a paid pass. A pass is bought by card through Stripe, billed monthly or once for the season. Members who already had access by holding the $PICKZ token keep that access. Prices are shown on the pass page before you pay.

• Monthly passes renew automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from the pass page; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Season passes run to the end of the current NFL season as shown at purchase and do not renew.
• Legacy token holders: if you had access by holding $PICKZ, you keep it while your linked wallet holds the minimum balance. New access is by card only.
• Refunds: card payments made within the last 14 days may be refunded on request if the pass has not been materially used; otherwise fees are non-refundable except where the law requires. Contact support@pickz.fun.

5. The weekly game

The weekly game is a free-to-enter skill contest. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win, and buying a pass does not improve your chances. Entries are made with virtual credits that have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold or redeemed. Prizes are paid in SOL to the winner’s prize wallet after an administrator approves the week’s results. The full contest rules, including eligibility, scoring, ties and how prizes are determined, are in the rules, which form part of these terms. Void where prohibited. Prize winners are responsible for any taxes.

We may cancel, suspend or amend a week’s contest where a data feed fails, a game is postponed or cancelled, or where we reasonably suspect manipulation. Entries we reasonably believe to be automated, duplicated or made in breach of these terms may be removed without a prize.

6. On-chain records

Pickz records a cryptographic hash of each contest slip and of each week’s results on the Solana blockchain. These records are public and permanent. They contain hashes, not your personal details. You can verify them on the verify page.

7. Your content

Notes, picks, bets, models and other content you create stay yours. You give us a licence to store and process them to run the Service. Your tracker and models are private to your account. Your contest entries and your display name are public once a game kicks off.

8. Acceptable use

• No automated access, scraping or bulk extraction of lines, reports or models.
• No attempt to interfere with the contest, the data feeds, the sealing process or other players.
• No reselling or republishing of research output.
• No impersonation, abuse or unlawful content.

9. Third-party data and services

The Service relies on third parties: market line and score feeds, public model sources, AI model providers, our authentication provider, our card processor and the Solana network. We do not control them and are not responsible for their accuracy or availability.

10. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Pickz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of money wagered elsewhere, loss of profits or loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, including 6, 7, 10 and 12, survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [VENUE], unless the law where you live gives you other rights.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
