Privacy policy

This policy explains what pickz.fun (“Pickz”, “we”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. The data controller is Pickz. Questions go to privacy@pickz.fun.

What we collect

• Sign-in details. Your phone number, email address or Google account, verified by our authentication provider (Privy), and the public addresses of any Solana wallets you connect or that are created for your account. We never see or hold private keys.
• Profile. The display name you choose. It is public on the leaderboard and your contest profile.
• What you do on the Service. Contest entries, tracker picks and bets, notes, models and research runs. The tracker and models are private to your account. Contest entries become public once a game kicks off.
• Payments. Payments are by card through our processor, Stripe, which handles your card details. We receive a customer reference, the plan, amounts and status, never the card number. For legacy token-hold access we check the token balance of your linked wallet.
• Technical data. IP address, browser and device information, and server logs, used for security and to keep the Service running. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes this on our behalf.

Why we use it

• To run your account, the contest, the research tools and the tracker (performance of our contract with you).
• To pay prizes and to meet legal, tax and anti-fraud obligations (legal obligation and legitimate interest).
• Sign-in codes are sent by Privy and card receipts by Stripe; we do not send marketing.
• To improve the Service using aggregated, de-identified usage data (legitimate interest).

Early-price waitlist

If you tap Buy before checkout opens, we save the email you enter, the plan you picked and, if you are signed in, your account, so you keep the early price when you buy. Pickz itself does not send email; sign-in codes are sent by Privy.

On-chain records

We publish a cryptographic hash of each contest slip and of each week’s results to the Solana blockchain. These hashes cannot be reversed into your personal data and cannot be deleted; that is the point of them. Prize payments are ordinary Solana transfers to your prize wallet and are public like any transaction. See the verify page.

AI research

The AI scout sends game information (teams, lines, public model numbers) to an AI provider to produce reports. It does not send your personal data, your notes or your models.

Who we share it with

Service providers who process data for us under contract: Privy (authentication and wallets), Stripe (card payments), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), AI providers (research), the Solana RPC provider, and market data suppliers. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where the law requires or to protect the Service and its users.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as your account is open and for [RETENTION PERIOD] after it closes, except where we must keep records longer (for example payment and prize records for tax purposes). On-chain hashes are permanent.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise them, contact privacy@pickz.fun. Deleting your account removes your profile, tracker, models and notes; contest records that have been sealed on-chain remain as hashes and in our settlement records.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and cookies set by our authentication provider for the same purpose. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where required, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Changes

We will post changes here and, for material changes, notify you on the Service.
